About Paragliding in Manali:
- The entire adventure takes around 30 Mins from start to completion. The airtime is around 8 to 15 minutes.
- Arrive at the Dobhi paragliding counter on Kullu Manali Highway. Get picked up & embark on an interesting jeep journey to the peak of around 8000 ft. which is the take-off area.
- Arrive at the take-off point where you will have a small session for safety instructions and you will have to fill up a form citing your health status so that it is assured that you are fit for paragliding.
- You will be given safety equipment and prepared for the flight from a height of 8000ft above sea level. The instructor and pilot will be there constantly motivating you and helping you conquer your fears and safety devices will be strapped onto you by the expert.
- You will have to run for a few meters on the edge of the hill and the paraglider will finally take off. The pilot will be flying with you and adjusting the glider to the direction of the wind and keep you safe.
- Take off from Manali's best paragliding point and catch a breathtaking glimpse of the powerful Himalayan tiers all around while soaring high in the sky.
- The pilot will help you land safely. Once you land safely, you will be transferred to the place of take-off.
Know before you book
- The trainer maintains the right to refuse any player who is deemed unfit to participate in the game.
- Every visitor is required to show identification at the time of booking as well as upon arrival. PAN cards will no longer be accepted as a valid form of identification.
- At the time of booking, as well as upon arrival, all foreign nationals must provide their passport and visa information.
- Any object damage or breakage may be charged at actuals.
- Because of weather circumstances, the activity is likely to be late or postponed. In this case, the following exceptional viable time window could be announced.
- Participants are not permitted to carry any sharp objects, such as a lighter, a bag, a drink, or a knife.
- Participants should arrive at the site at least half an hour before their scheduled time slot.

The airtime is around 8-15 minutes. The entire adventure takes around 30 Mins from start to completion. Therefore, you have plenty of time to spread out and enjoy the Himalayas' untamed skies while beating off the frigid winds.
What Health Concerns may prevent me from doing Paragliding?
Anyone who has major surgery or has a broken leg/arm or has persistent back or neck difficulties is refrained from doing Paragliding. People with medical conditions such as epilepsy, fainting, giddiness, high blood pressure, heart condition, osteoporosis or diabetes are asked to consult a doctor before being a part of this adventure. Women with more than three months of pregnancy are strictly prohibited from doing Paragliding.
