Know before you book
Health and Fitness:
- It is always advisable to consult a physician before planning a Kolad rafting trip. Check if you are in good health or if there is any medical condition that needs to be addressed. Rafting may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions or medical concerns, such as:
- High blood pressure

- Back or neck problems
Experienced Guides:
- We have experienced wilderness and rafting guides who have spent years on the river. It is important to follow their instructions, whether or not you have tried rafting before. Their expertise ensures a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the Kolad river rafting activity.
Safety Gear:
- Always keep your helmet on and minimise the risk of injury. Keep your life jacket on and fastened, even when going through calm waters. These items not only help keep you afloat but also make it easier for the guides to pull you back into the raft if you fall out during white water rafting.
Clothing and Footwear:
- Wear waterproof and anti-chafing clothes that will act as a barrier between you and the raft. Avoid cotton, which takes a long time to dry and pulls heat away from the body. Instead, synthetic materials are ideal as they are quick-drying. For shoes, we recommend enclosed shoes with laces, such as Dunlop volleys.
Book Carefully:
- Before booking your Kolad river rafting package, make sure to visit our website and carefully check all inclusions and exclusions provided in the package details.
Advance Booking:
