- Bananthimari Betta, a small hill, famous for its iconic scene in "Sholay" is nestled in the Ramanagara District of Karnataka. Nearly 75 KM away from Bangalore City, the Hills of Bananthimari is a go-to spot for trekkers.
- Perched up at an elevation of around 1135 Meters, Bananthimari Betta is much more than just a Hill. Its lush greenery embracing it and panoramic vistas of valleys, farms, water streams, and villages add a bonus to its beauty.
About Camping & Trekking in Bananthimari Betta:
- Be warmly welcomed by our team as you embark on your exciting journey ahead. Our dedicated team will join you and extend their heartfelt greetings.
- The journey will start with a night journey from Bangalore to the Campsite. It will be a few hours ride, and upon arriving at the campsite take a rest to charge up your energy for the adventure lying ahead.
- You will be taking a short drive of around 10 Minutes from the Campsite to the Trekking Base. The trek leader will brief you on the Trek Guidelines that you will be following throughout the journey.
- Once you are all set with your gear, you will ignite your Trekking journey towards the Bananthimari Peak following your Trek Leader through the lush meadows feeling the embrace of Mother Nature.
- Upon reaching the Peak, stay for a while and admire the magnificent glory of nature. Get your cameras out and capture the serene frames of lush hills and valleys spread all around you.
- It will be time to wrap up and start to trek back down to Base. You will continue to move towards the Campsite for a savory delight of authentic cuisines.
- Wrapping up the journey, take a ride back to Bangalore. Giving a warm farewell to your Trip, take back home priceless memories of the adventurous weekend.
Know before you book

The Bananthimari Betta Trek Package only covers Breakfast and Snacks. Charges for any other meals will be taken care of by you.

The Trek Package Fees only aid you with Basic First Aid needs. If you have a specific medication that you take, it is advised to bring that along with you on this journey.

How long does it take to cover the Trip?
The entire journey takes around 14-15 Hours to cover. However, the trek to Bananthimari Peak is only 5 KM long which takes around 2-3 Hours to complete.
