Arrive in Kathmandu and explore this beautiful city with a sightseeing tour of the UNESCO sites. After that, take a flight from Kathmandu to Surkhet and drive to Sekathum.
Explore a short village from Sekathum to Itary, the beginning of the trek, from there cross through Amjilosa (2,498m), a Sherpa village, and climb the steps to reach Thyangyani.
Enjoy a walk through the Bamboo Jungle, via Gyabla (2,725m) to reach Ghunsa, with an increase in altitude, hold one night in Ghunsa for acclimatisation and time for leisure.
From this elevated viewpoint, visit monasteries and see panoramic views that include Kumbhakarna (7,711m), Temachung (6,305m), Nyukla Lachung (6,012m), and many more.
Proceed towards Khambachen trek pass (Jannu Himal) offering astonishing views, cross Rambuk Kharka and reach Lyakep, before arriving at Khambachen for acclimatisation.
Next, continue the journey to Lhonak and begin your main trek to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (5,140m) to get the view of the highest peak and Buddhist prayer flags flapping in the wind.
Get ready for a short trek to Ghunsa and from there cross Sele La Pass (4,290m) while tracing the path of the Selelle Khola and continue to Kanchenjunga South Base Camp.
